About
Susan enjoys many art mediums. But mostly plays with acrylics.
She is drawn to express emotions in her paintings such a peaceful, calm, happy and nostalgic feelings. She loves florals, landscapes and cute animals as her objects of choice.
She loves the Impressionism artists Van Gogh and Monet and has painted some of their paintings as studies of their work.
She currently takes lessons from the wonderful accomplished and renowned local artist Gayla Prince Wallace. She is so grateful for Gayla’s encouragement and commitment in sharing her gifts and knowledge.
Biography
Susan was born in Warner Robins, Georgia, moved to St. George, Utah at twelve years old and is currently married to her Highschool Sweetheart. She raised 5 amazing children in Ivins, Utah where she still resides.
Susan has always loved anything art. She was always coloring and drawing as child and teen.
As her children grew older, she strived to put more time into her love of art.
She enjoys teaching art classes and paint nights. She loves helping others feel comfortable to explore and express themselves through art.
